Plan It lets Card Members split up larger purchases of $100 or more into equal monthly payments with a fixed fee and no interest1. Card Members know upfront exactly how much they’ll pay each month. Card Members do not have to apply for a Plan; they simply click on an eligible purchase in the American Express mobile app, or on their online account at AmericanExpress.com, and choose to “Plan It.” Card Members still earn rewards the same way they would for other purchases.Since its launch in 2017, Card Members have created nearly five million Plans, totaling nearly $4 billion.
